I just read this article on the Bangor Daily News: Milo-area schools get 174 MacBook computers
One thing about this bothers me 🙁 They got MacBook Air laptops. Now don’t get me wrong, I love macs, I’m a mac-user myself. But I’ve had to deal with MacBook Airs at work, and I think schools are the WORST place for them. They’re very easily broken, and just a simple screen replacement can cost over $700. Those things are gonna get broken quick, and cost a small fortune to keep running.
What does everyone else think?
I recall one area high school had massive costs. One reason was that instead of replacing, they were repairing.
